Established in 1998 AU79 Teahouse was found by one of the 9 descendants of the world famous Ten Ren's Tea Company. Hoping that his children will also carry on the family business of serving high quality tea, he decided to open the first AU79 in Arcadia, California in the year 1998. The largest and best known tea manufacturer in the Far East, Ten Ren's Tea was found by Lee, Su-Mu, the father of the 9 descendants. All of Lee’s children has successfully carried on his tea empire and carried the name of Ten Ren’s Tea all over the world. All except for one, the fourth brother, which has a different perception and uniqueness for tea. With his enthusiasm, he branched out and established his own tea house. Today, he remains one of the biggest Ten Ren’s Tea’s share holder and the founder of AU79 Teahouse. Striving to obtain the best quality of tea, the fourth brother hand picks different types of tea leaves to create a wide variety of flavors and aromas to suit everyone’s unique palate. Today, there are two AU79 locations in the San Gabriel Valley. One in Arcadia and another in San Gabriel, California. Both tea house offers a grand selection of tea, and are open 7 days a week with convenient times to fit any busy schedule. We hope that you will enjoy and love our tea!
